Your Hosts :
Ray & Rose Arcand
I have lived in Pemberton for 25 years had my own business for 15 of
those years and raised two children which are now grown and doing their
own thing. I have wanted to have a Bed and Breakfast for a few years,
being the fact that I always had a revolving door raising two teenagers
and their friends. I have lived around BC for my Dad was always being
transferred.
I lived in the Caribou, Thompson Valley, East Kooteneys to Vancouver
Island to Lillooet to Squamish and finally Pemberton which I now call
Home With my Husband Ray who comes from Ontario the land of Shania
Twain, Ray grew up in the Hotel business for his parents have a 35 room
hotel in Englehart Ontario called the Old Town Inn. So hosting comes
natural to Ray, He is also an avid guitar player, an antique collector
and an antique clock jeweler and collector (repairs) Ray came from
Kelowna BC 4 years ago to help a friend with a construction job for 3
months, as the saying goes we met fell in love and here we are doing the
one thing we both love meeting people from around the world. Ray is
currently helping build one of the Athletes Villages in Whistler for the
2010 winter Olympics and I ‘m currently a working student trying to get
my accounting certification.
We'd like to sincerely thank
all our wonderful guests from around the world that have stayed with us.
You made our first year running Home Comforts B&B a total pleasure and
we look forward to seeing you all again sometime soon as well as
welcoming new guests. And don't forget we're in a great location
to enjoy the 2010 Winter Olympics.
